Technology Advancement
GGBS – Ground Granulated Blast-furnase Slag
- Obtained by heating of Iron Ore, Limestone and Coke at Temperature of 1500 Degree C.
- High in Calcium Silicate Hydrates – which is strength enhancing compound – provides strength, durability and appearance of concrete.
- 40 to 50% used in most instances – Slightly less Expensive – Double Strength on 28 – 56 days.
